Just looked at it. Seems to be a good way to go as far as scoping these rifles go. Pricing is IMO reasonable as well...

The irons can be sighted in before installing the scope base. I think that's a better concept than driving the rear sight out and loose it over time :)
 
A "scout" scope arrangement or a low profile red dot like the old Armson OEG is what they really need IMHO, but no really ideal mounts exist, yet. A LER scope like Leupold M8 2x would also be good.

I agree, that's why I opted for a small red dot sight after trying a scope on it.

IMO, these guns were not designed to be precision benchrest rifles but to be light, reasonable accurate, handy and easy to carry/transport.
