I'm going to get my PAL soon, and I might be able to get my hands on a Browning Semi-Auto .22 takedown. I was wondering though, what is the status of the rifle? The law says a restricted firearm is....
A firearm that can fire after being reduced, by folding, telescoping or otherwise, to an overall length of less than 660 mm.
Can the Browning actually be fired with the barrel off? With the barrel off, it comes to around 476mm, I think, going by the measurements on the Browning website. Will I need my RPAL for this rifle?
