just curiouse how acurate are these things i think they are brilliant looking i would not expect them to be as acurate as my CZ or annie rimfires but who knows ? can anyone speak of there quality or acuracy ?

Yup. They are super accurate. Most people will probably agree with me. They aren't as accurate as my Savage MKIIFV, but will easy do 1" groups at 50 yards with open sights. It's quite a genius design.

And I am not only saying that because I have one up for sale.

I look forward to the day I can easily shoot 1 inch groups, with iron sights,at 50 yards, with any of my .22's, let alone my SA.

To be fair I usually shoot bulk .22 ammo and I'm more of a plinker then a target shooter so if the cans are dancing I'm happy!

I like the SA but you have to hold it right so the shells don't go down your sleeve!:D

I can't tell you just how accurate they are (never wasted much time shooting for group with mine)... But it certainly is minute of squirrel accurate...

- It's probably my most reliable semi-automatic rimfire.
- I haven't seen any noticeable difference in built quality between the Belgian made guns VS the Japanese guns. Had both and kept the Belgian (sentimental value)
- If buying used... watch out for worned out rifles... I've seen a few older FN (and Remington variant) where the inside of the receiver was just about worn out (God only knows how many shots these gun had seen!)

If it's for "collection", the older guns with the wheelsight are more desirable... personally, I prefer the conveniance of the more "modern" gun with the barrel drilled and taped for a cantilever mount.

Did I say they are fun to shoot :D

It's called a Savage MK II with a scope. That'll get you confident enough to try with your SA22.

Strangely enough my BL-22 can almost match that. I have nothing but good things to say about Browning .22's.
