Hello
I have a Belgian made (1968) IIRC safari in 7mm Rem mag, It is already a good shooter but in the quest for better I was wondering if this series of rifle benefits from having a pressure point on the barrel as it is not free floated? It has not been bedded either but the stock has had the gloss removed, dehumidified and treated with linseed oil (IIRC) by a smith. Any tips would be appreciated.
Asking before I go to the trouble of shimming the action and knowing all rifles are unique to themselves.
