I recently acquired a Browning side by side shotgun and was curious as to what it is worth. It is in mint condition and is Japanese made. B-S/S special steel 12GA - Shells 2 3/4"

A local shop here has one NIB for $1900. That doesn't mean it'll sell for that though;) . My F-I-L just picked one up, very good cond, for $1400. Don't know what the book values are.

I've seen a bunch in the $ 750 to $ 1,000 range .... 2o's go for
$ 1250 - $ 1500 or more.

Condition is everything, and 28" barrels seems to go for more, as do the SST models over the plain non-selective triggers.

Sight unseen ... they're all in "Mint" condition.

"Mint" to some means NEW IN THE BOX, unfired, with all original manuals, hang-tags, etc. It hasn't been used, no marks of any kind, let alone wear, whatsoever.

Mint is maybe $ 1,000 Very good $ 650.

The haggling is for everything in-between ;)

I'll give you $400 sight unseen.....

Box lock vs Side lock is a huge difference too.

If you are selling it I would be interested.... and no I was not serious at $400 but I seriously would take it for that!!!
