I recently recieved a browning sxs in 12 gauge 3". Made in Japan, never fired.

Anyone have a guess on the value of this firearm? Very sharp gun!

Thanks in advance!

There's one for sale for $600 on the EE forum but that is a bit low IMHO. I have a minty one that I wouldn't sell for under $1000. One thing to consider is the configuration: a single selective trigger typically commands a premium over the non-selective variety.

Which one? There was the Browning B-SS boxlock in grade I and II (the II has fancier engraving and better wood). The early models had a non-selective trigger, then came the selectives, then the Sporter model with straight grip and selective triggers. Some were assembled in Korea from Miroku (Japanese) made parts. These will say Korea on the barrels. Then there was the sidelock, a different gun altogether. We need to know the model before a value can be assigned.

Scrap metal, I'll send you the shipping to take it off your hands.
Really though, great gun, have always wanted one.
