Does anyone have any experience with the Browning A-Bolt stainless Stalker in 375HH? I'm kind of interested because it does come in a reasonably priced lefthanded model. Any info apreciated. Thanks,
Larry

I shot one. but it was a right hand model and it was blued.
The stock fit me and the recoil was mild. I liked it, but being right handed, I'd choose the CZ.
Overall feel was good and the finish was very nice. A good recoil pad made things easier.... but I don't know if it was from the factory or not.

I fired one a bit about six years ago. It had the BOSS on it, and sure was loud. It shot the 270 grain Federal factory load and 260 grain Partitions reasonably well. It didnt belong to me but I did carry it deer hunting one morning and put a finishing shot into my fathers biggest mulie he ever got. That 260 grain Partition sure let the air out of him pretty quick :)

I owned one a few yrs back. The buttstock on it was smaller than the buttstock on my A-Bolt 22/250  which is not good for a 375.

The pics below show the butt pad from a SS A-Bolt 375H&H compared to a recoil pad from a Remington. If you don't think that this makes a big difference, well have at it. :D

Forgot to mention that the Browning pad feels like the same stuff they make hockey pucks from.
