I need some advice on fixing a superposed of mine. I used it hunting and somehow the rib came loose. I would like to have it reattached, and at the same time, I would like to know if the bores can be reamed out to skI and skII from the current full/mod configuration.

Who is best qualifited to do this work in Canada? Does anyone have a good recommendation.

Thanks in Advance.

I had the rib on my superposed re-attached. It messed up the blueing and the guy that did it thought he would do me a favour and paint the barrels with stove paint. it is now 10 yrs on and most of the paint is gone. The barrels can be bored out, but there likely isn't enough steel there to install screw in chokes, unless you spend lots. PM me if you can' t find anyone local to fix it for you.

without knowing where you are from, it is difficult to recommend a gunsmith, but Jason Spencer of Gunco in Nepean, Ontario could certainly look after you, or Steve Milton of precision arms in king city, ontario.

They both could resolder your rib and reblue the barrels. Jason can ream out your chokes no problem as well.

Steve can install screw-in chokes even with very little material to work with.

Just google either and you'll get a phone number
