it is a fancy shooter
I have collected the belgium ones for many years and although the japanese ones take a bad rap I have seen many and used a few so I don't think they function any better or worse than the old Belgiums.
The trick to the Belgium rifles seems to be the higher quality of the hand engraving. I have seen a number of japanese acid engravings where the dogs all looked like greyhounds instead of pointers, pheasants looked like peacocks and the squirrels looked like weasels just because the engravers did not know the dogs or the north american species.
As far as price goes the grade 2 are stil available or were 2 years ago so for this condition (well used) I would look at 50-60 % of new price to be a shooter.
