On the Browning 725 sporing o/u there are three trigger shoes. Tried the smooth canted for the first time this week. Things went well. In the past have always used the smooth but NON canted trigger. I can not seem to find any place that explains the rationale for the smooth canted trigger shoe idea. Can anybody enlighten me? I am kinda 'slow' on such matters.

If you're a right handed it fits the distal joint of your trigger better than the flat one.

I find the canted one to be the most comfortable. I have short fingers so it works well for me.

I found the same thing..as a good gunsmith commented..."oh I see you have put the correct trigger on it" meaning the smooth NOT CANTED trigger shoe. Maybe the canted is for serious gun-up trapshooters...which i am not. am a gun-down sporting clays shooter
