Was not really sure where to post this... So here goes.
A while back I purchased a Browning X Bolt Hunter in 223. I really like the rifle and it is a real shooter. However I do not like the trigger pull on it. It is very crisp but is over 3 1/2 pounds and I cannot get it any lighter. I find that too heavy.
I have Googled, searched etc but no luck. There was a fellow (Erniethegunsmith) in the U.S. that sold an after market trigger spring. But he no longer sells them for the X bolt. Others have said you can clip 1 to 1 1/2 coils off the original trigger spring and this get you down to approx 1 1/2 lbs, which is where I would like to be. However I am hesitant to try this w/o another factory trigger spring on hand. Any idea where I can get one?
Wondering if anyone has tried this? Or any other options to reduce trigger pull weight on the Browning X Bolt? Or can you steer me to some web sights?
Thanks.
