Yes. I have already done with the McCarbo.
The spring was $22 but seems to be a 10 cent cost to manufacture part. The original spring is a solid and stronger spring.

Has anybody tried to reduce trigger weight of the Browning X bolt through cutting off of the coils/spirals of the factory spring in the trigger assembly? If so, how did it work out? Your views, Thanks
I have done both of mine with M Carbo springs and set them to just over 2 Lbs. Not sure how I could get the stock spring out without rendering it useless. I wondered about doing the same thing before finding the spring replacement kit.
