Anyone rebarrelled either of these before? I've heard that X-Bolts can be difficult to rebarrel and many gunsmiths are reluctant to do it. Haven't heard anything negative about rebarrelling an M70.
I'm thinking of putting together an "offbeat" caliber like 35 Whelen and the simplest way to do is simply rebarrel a 3006. I'm an X-Bolt fan and have heard good things about the M70 so would be fine with both.
