I'm wondering about mounting a scope on an X-bolt Stainless Stalker. From what I can gather, the Browning X lock Integrated mounts (mounts & rings) are recommended instead of brand name mounts/rings. Does anyone have any experience with this? I've seen where others can be used, but would you say the best way to go is with Browning's?
If so, where do you get them? They seem to be pretty scarce. Can't get them at bass pro or most of the browning dealers I've checked out.

The browning x lock rings worked good for me, they are just talley lightweights in a browning package. Unless you've got a 50mm obj, go with the lows. The lows are good for up to a 44mm obj. I ran a Leupold 2.5-8 on mine, scope never moved, and I never lapped the rings or anything.

I agree with Homesteader. The rings are excellent quality, they are 100% Talley rings in a Browning package.
