I have an older Browning A-5 3" magnum with Invector chokes
The manual says that when shooting 3 " shotshells you should use both the brass friction rings and the 3 steel spacers ( does not mention steel at this point )
However later on the manual states - if using 2 3/4" high velocity shotshells or steel shot you should use only 1 brass friction ring and 1 steel spacer
Is there so much difference between the steel and lead loads
I do not want to damage the gun by using the incorrect setting
Want to be sure that the gun cycles the shotshells
How do you set up your A-5
Thanks
