BRS-99 vs Kriss Vector vs Beretta CX Storm vs JR Carbine VS TNW survival

I've shot all except for the BRS-99. If the price tag doesn't scare you, I would highly recommend the Kriss Vector.

JR all the way! The is the only ppc listed that can fit a 3lb aftermarket trigger plus all the left-over AR goodies.... I think....

Nope - the 9mm Colt clones such as my Rock River Arms LAR9 PCC are the ultimate platform for AR accessorizing.....

I love my BRS-99, although magazines are expensive and not always in stock and limited to 5 rounds. I'm also worried parts might become a problem in the future.
The Beretta CX4 handles great, takes Beretta pistol magazines and comes in a non-restricted variation so that would be the one I'd buy.

My BRS99 non restricted is dead nuts accurate right out of the box...never even had to touch the sights never had a ftf or fte or any issue even with total garbage worse of the worst 9mm ammo
.....I know the barrel is crazy long and might not be for everyone...I personally like the faux suppressor look....it's on my do not sell list and will remain there forever

Same with mine. Pretty well a tack driver. I've tried every kind of hollow point and type of bullet available in 9mm and not a single stoppage. A very outstanding design.

Thanks to All for sharing your experiences and opinions!

I will keep my eyes on the EE and on dealers stores for a 9mm Pseudo SMG deal.
I bought from IRunGuns a PSA 9mm AR that takes Glock mags (which are relatively cheap and you can also use 40 S&W Glock mags in it ). I cannot say enough about how much I love this gun. Came in at just about $1000 all in, 10" barrel so nice & compact (I believe 8" and 16" are also available), the new ones have M-Lok handguards and it takes all AR accessories. I added a Timney 3 1/2 lb. drop in trigger assembly, an Ergo F93 stock and an EoTech and this thing is the cat's a$$. I have two other 9mm ARs (Rock River and Olympic Arms), a 9mm JR Carbine and three Beretta CX-4s (two 9s and a 40) and I have no gripe with any of them but the PSA is still by far my favourite. Even shooting mainly cast lead bullets I have not had a single FTF or FTE. Combine the comparatively low cost, ability to accessorize, compactness and dependability and it can't get much better. The only down side is it is restricted but I wanted a range toy and for that purpose it's just about perfect.

Well I don’t think anyone has mentioned it yet but what about the Kel-Tec Sub2000? I know a lot of people dislike Kel-Tec and for some it’s for darn good reason but I love my sub2k. Mine is the 9mm glock version so takes any and all glock 17 19 and 22(?) mags which are relatively cheap and plentiful, it folds up to 19” OAL I believe and is non restricted. I put in the new trigger kit, trigger guard, extended charging handle and upgraded body bolts and the thing just goes and goes. Never a single failure of any kind, super light but not much recoil great for new shooters (my wife loves it) and at $750 it’s affordable. I fold it in half and it comes with me anytime I am in the woods. Also comes in .40 if you like more punch. Just my $.02

I don't have a sub2k but I shot one at a range once. I like it. It shoots very well and it is very compact for transport the price is pretty good. The only thing I can pick on is that when adjusting the stock length it is a bit of a work-out pulling the pin and etc but overall I have to say I agree it is a pretty good 9mm carbine.

And if you feel like saving some money for other projects, the Hipoint carbine is an inexpensive option at well under $400. The 9mm variant is limited to 5 rounds, but the 45 version has 9 rounders.

BRS-99. I love the Uzi-look especially with the shroud. Shoots nice and easy to clean. Only downside is that it's pinned to 5 and the magazines aren't very common. Despite that, it's definitely one of the firearms I would not consider parting with as I enjoy it way, way too much.

Of all the choices you list, I would look at a CZ Scorpion Evo. 5 round mags suck, but until the Raven9 makes an appearance.. I believe it to be the best game in town for a NR PCC. My brother owns one and it is a hoot to run.

Now as far as the Vector goes, I will wear my flame suit. I LOVE the Vector in 10mmAuto, that is where the recoil reduction system really shines. In 9mm they just ... don’t do it for me (but I like a little recoil)
In truth the Vector recoil system is well suited for high pressure rounds like 357SIG or 10mmAuto. That is where it shines brightest. That said, my 10mmAuto has eaten everything I have run through it without one hiccup. I highly recommend the platform, the fact it uses relatively cheap GLOCK mags is a real plus.
