Basically the Poles took the UZI and fixed all of it's shortcomings:
-Closed bolt design (wich is far more accurate than open bolt design)
-1911 style magazine button compared to the bottom catch
-Empty magazine hold open
-Ability to install integral accessories
-Ergonomic bolt catch
-Empty magazines fall by themselves, they do not require to be ripped out.
On the down side:
We can see that the Polish army and police are hiring big dudes....
-Large pistol grip
-long and non-adjustable stock (2 modes only: closed or deployed)
-Very ackward safety selector
I am a very medium sized guy with small hands. I am very comfortable and efficient with my BRS. Like everything else, it is a question of training. With a bit of training, magazines changes are performed in a flash.
Overall, great little SMG, i compete with it in CQB matches. In +- 3000 rds never had
any malfunction:
