Those BRS and FAMAE carbines are pretty cool looking guns, any 10rd pistol magazines available for them, preferably without modification?

No pistol magazines available for BRS; thus non restricted status can be obtained.

We have seen an older FAMAE that was custom modified to use Colt 9mm magazines; it is possible that the modification could allow usage of LAR-10 10 round pistol mags.

search JR carbine or just right carbine. neat gun using Glock mags.

No comparision with the BRS/FAMAE

I know but those ^^^ are ugly and cheap looking. Also have been reading bad reviews on them. Not interested in those at all.

I like the BRS and FAMAE stuff... and Restricted is alright for my uses.

The FAME's take proprietary mags. I modded an Uzi mag to fit.. it was A WHOLE LOT of work to get it to run right and for 5 rounds.. hardly worth it.

:agree: thats exactly why. These have been around for sometime now and if it was easy to do and worth while I am sur epeople would have already done it. Why #### around with a gun thats well over 2k for 5 more rounds.

because u can, and its 5 more rounds. and maybe i want to. if one has the money and the skill to do so then why not do it?

When an existing pistol mag can be used, the rifle is modified. Nobody said anything about modifying a magazine.

For these carbines, I wouldn't modify a $2000 rifle. Thought maybe a pistol mag was available for them. It isn't it seems.
