Guys,

Any idea where I could find a BRS99 holster? Wolverine doesn't have any. As for mag pouches, I'd like BRS99 magpouches but would UZI mag pouches suffice?

UZI mags are a bit wider than BRS99 mag, so they should work fine. I checked my parts bin here and have nothing left for the BRS99, must have sent it all away with it when it sold. Did Wolverine give you any indication that they will continue to import the carbines and parts/accessories?

I talked to Mr. Wolverine in person and he said they had no immediate plans to import.

Maybe I should order uzi mag pouches from the USA? ANy idea of a similar firearm that might have a usable holster? Uzi maybe? I know the front end of the BRS99 is a little larger...

I've been searching since May 2008!

If you can find a holster made for a Mini-Uzi, that should be pretty close (except for the front handguard). The BRS99 is about the same size, the regular UZI is quite a bit bigger.

Edit:

If you got lots of money, buy a second BRS99 used and keep it as spare parts. That will get you a holster, extra mags, mag pouch and cleaning kit... :)

LOL, can't afford to make any large purchases with an important trip coming up :(

I don't think the BRS99 is popular at all in the USA. I can't seem to find any dealers anywhere.

Yay. Since no one else will be importing, whatever's here will be here I guess. Perhaps I should make my own holster.

About the mags, how are they supposed to be pinned? I had to pin the ones that came with mine with a rivet through the back, pinned to 5. However it does interfere with loading and removal of the magazine. Is there a more convenient way?

I emailed a few dealers down south to see if they ship here. Mag pouches shouldn't be an issue right? I'm not sure if holsters and pouches are on Obama's do not send list...

The mags are internally pinned in Poland. The base at the bottom of the mag has a protrusion that comes up the back of the mag to the 5 round mark. All 14 mags I have handled for the BRS99 have been plugged in this manner.

THat would explain my mags... there's only bottom caps, nothing that goes up the back of the magazine. Perhaps they have been sliced. I will try to get a pic to show you guys, because I hate the rivets.

Where else could I obtain some of those end pieces?

I suppose one could contact the factory in Poland and see if they have extra 5 round floorplates there. Looks like the previous owner of your magazines was not a big fan of the 5 round mag limit. A very small rivet might work, but you would need to countersink it slightly and then grind it away to be flush. You could epoxy an extension onto the follower and then rivet the baseplate on...
