Finally got a chance to shoot some pics of the new TP9, with the FAKE suppressor (no sound suppression qualities whatsoever - just a glorified flash hider), and the brass catcher

that is sweeeet. The plastic part on the brass catcher is a nice feature i tried out a soft mesh one on my ar this week and it kept causing the brass to pile up and caused jams.

My one complaint is that the mags are pinned a little too tight. They hold five rounds, but the fifth is a ##### to get in, and a full mag is so tight that the bolt doesn't have enough force to consistently chamber the first round. When there's four rounds in the mag, then no prob. I wonder if things would loosen up if I just kept the mags fully loaded in the safe for a few weeks.

lol, that’s not too bad then. I've noticed the rare and exotic guns have extremely priced accessories.
Are they pinned with a rivet? or welding? I had a PMAG that was tight, I put in 5 rounds, then pushed down really hard, I think it bent the rivet a little. Now its 5.5.

I loved my tp9. Always wanted the faux suppresor but couldnt justify the price of it.

Sweet looking rig though that is forsure.

I'm still not sure about firing it with the fake can. The unit is hollow, and there is a hole in the end cap. I know can fire it with the end cap removed. But, am feeling squeamish about leaving the cap on, even though there is 9mm sized hole in it. Anyone have experience firing with the dummy suppressor?

The weight of the dummy suppressor actually balances out the gun quite nicely.

there was some sub 9mm at the Calgary Gunshow UW did you find it? Might have worked nice in that little unit. I didn't buy any as I didn't want to crack the frames on my pistols.
