I'm looking into getting my first spotting scope and i've heard some good things about the Brunton Eterna compact spotting scope. From everything i've read it sounds great but there are few if any reviews out there from anyone that owns one. I've never used a Brunton scope in my life so I know very little about the brand. I'm wondering if any of you people who own this spotting scope or Brunton products think of them? I'm looking to spend no more than around the $500 dollar mark since backpacking something more expensive around in the bush is a little to risky for my liking if you drop it or what not. If anyone knows any other compact spotting scope for around the same price and are happy with it please let me know. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.
