BSA Air Rifles

Anyone know of gunsmiths with experience with BSA air rifles? I have an older .22 caliber BSA that is having some problems. I want to get it tuned up as a present for my brother.

There is a guy in Kitchener Ontario that does a lot of airgun work, including BSA's.
What model? Some of the ones with scope rails are a ##### to take apart and put back to gether.

I'm pretty sure it's a "Model D". It needs new sights and some work on the sear/trigger. Basically the piston lets go after charging even if the trigger is undisturbed.

I have many great memories of shooting this as a kid and would love to see it restored to working order.
