As there are plainly folks here who know a LOT more than I do about these fine, if obsolescent rifles, do any of you know a manufacturer of after-market composite stocks who makes one that will fit this not-quite-a-Mauser action?
Sporting style, nothing fancy, but $$$ is immaterial, within reason that is - say $1000. The pal who asked me about this is neither in Canada, nor fussy about spending money.
TIA.

Edit -
BSA CF2 sporter....replacement stock...
For any and all of you out there who may just have one of the fine old guns, and are looking to put a modern lightweight synthetic stock on it.
I got in touch with MacMillan stocks earlier today, and received a very fast response [thanks, Guys].
Seems that in the 37 years they've been in business they have never been asked to make a stock for one of these rifles, a much-modified and very well-made take on a Mauser action. In fact, they have never seen one either.
Seems a pity t'me as there are many of these rifles here in Europe as well as in Canada, but there y'are.
