I had a friend of mine bring me a BSA CF2 that is in rough shape. It currently has 2 screws holding the mag spring to the floor plate!!!!
What he would like is to have it converted to magazine instead of floor plate, on the cheap obviously as the rifle is probably worth about $200.
I thought of the Mauser 98 conversion kit. I sent a quick email to Trade Ex and they told me it would not work with the BSA. The owner told me that someone he knows had this done to the exact same rifle for about $100!
Anyone seen, or knows what would fit or is available on the market for that rifle? The action screws spacing is 8”.
