So for all the "end users" what muzzle breaks work with this unit? just your typical A2 or are there "other" compatible ones like any of the AAC models? Thanks

I've got a B&T one like that and it fits any standard NATO flash hider.

Rich

OK, so is there 2 different models? or do they both fit the NATO A2 cage type flash hider?
So there looks to be the Rotex-IIA and the the Rotex V, which I think works with the A2 FH?
The V has a "gate" to fit into the slot on the A2 FH? if I'm correct?
Cheers

Ya I think so, mine has the gate and it goes right over a NATO A2 Flash hider. The one in the photo above looks like mine with the gate.
Same as the Rotex V suppressors that go over any NATO unit.

Thanks, BTW how do you like it? any comments compared to the Surefire product? Worth the coin? Cheers

I haven't used the Surefire one but I think these are all about the same, just direct the muzzle blast forward. I find it will create a big fireball out the front of the gun with some ammo, sort of exciting but actually kind of annoying. Only real utility is shooting around others in a team / CQB setting, but we have real suppressors for that.
Short answer I'm not sure if any of these things are worth the money.

LOL, in this day and age, is any AR accessory worth the money this days?, I'm familiar with suppressors, and I have plenty of milspec A2's hanging around which made it more economical than going the Surefire route with there FH and BD,

How does this work with the normal nato style bird cage like the HK standard flash suppressor, especially with NVG?

Only shoot suppressed with NVG, so can't comment. This was a civilian toy / add on, not used for duty. But is an interesting question.

Well time to "circle back" to this thread, since these "sell out" I'm guessing there should be at least a handful of owner/operators out there?

B&T have come out with a FH that will accept the Rotex IIA and the Surefire mount for the RC2 & 3 cans also there Blast Warden. Since the B&T blast diffuser has the Rotex IIA in its description, will the "new' B&T FH that accept both the Rotex IIA interface and Surefire work? Discuss
