BT99 Gunsmithing

I have a 1973 BT99 that has a very light lever spring. As such, I believe the spring needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if a qualified gunsmith that can do this type of servicing? Someone preferably with a background in Browning.

Alternatively, does anyone have the BT99 Field Service manual?

Here is a link to the parts list and layout for your gun. Top lever spring replacement is relatively easy once you have studied this diagram. You do need the proper screwdrivers. Don't bugger up the Browing screw heads please. Hope this helps.
