I usually dont do this, so please tell me if I am out of line by linking to an ad in the EE. This is such a crime against all that is good and proper in the world of Milsurps. A beautiful K98, nice waffenampts dressed up with scope mounts, scope and some after market detachable magazine mod. This makes me very sad.

Even worse, I was at a little gunshop a few weeks ago and noticed a mauser looking 30-06 scoped rifle on the rack. I asked to look at it. To my horror, it was a mint Portuguese K98 reciever with gorgeous waffenampts on it, dressed up with some 30-06 barrel, cheap synthetic stock and a bushnell scope. What a travesty!
