I recently bought a Buck Mark Camper .22 LR and one of the first things I noticed was the sharp edge on the knob used to depress the clip spring. I took it to the range and had a few problems with spent cases getting stuck between the end of the barrel and the slide. I filed the sharp edge off of the mag spring depressor and now half the time the slide closes after the last shell is fired and I have dropped the hammer on an empty chamber a couple of times. Is the loading knob also used to raise the slide stop after the last round in the clip?? If I turn the knob with a pair of pliers I can restore the sharp edge to the top but I am still not sure if this knob is what activates the slide stop. Any Ideas on this????
