Buck shot in a rifled barrel?

I patterned 3" 000buck out of mine just for an "oh ####" back up plan. At 15' not a single pellet hit a metal 45gallon drum. I used the 3rd as a slug after that

Donut pattern. If they use a shot cup it will be spun by the rifling, as soon as the wad leaves the shot column, centrifugal force will cause the pellets to drift outwards from center. If you really want to try, get some cheaper stuff like remington or super x that does not use a shot cup, maybe you will find something that works. Remington managed recoil buck may do the trick.
