Hey, I just got my first handgun.... I decided on a rimfire .22 to start with, a Buckmark Camper. I love the feel and the style of this little thing but I have only one complaint... I seem to jamup on the last 2 shells in the mag. I went back to the gun store to see if they had a solution, they suggested I replace the mag, and they gave me one out of one of the display models they had. It still does the same thing. I have put about 1500 rnds through the unit to this point, and I have only had 8 to 10 mags fire all of the way through. I was outside (COLD!!) and inside I've tried cleaning and everything else I can think of, it doesnt seem to matter if its cold or warm or clean or dirty or dry (no oil) or sopping wet....... Any ideas..... I'm desperate! tks

are all the problems you've had occurred with the same bullets?

I know on my 10/22 I found that some bullets were just prone to jamming up. and when I went back to the bullets that had worked good for me in the past, the problem went away.

if you havent yet I would suggest trying a few different brands, or models of .22lr bullets

WooHoo!! I just tried a 3rd replacement clip and it works AWSOME!!! I have tried 3 differnt types of ammo, Federal (brick from wally world) american eagle & winchester dyna point, all worked ok...ish, I found the best was the american eagle... 650 rnds before I needed to clean the breach & bolt face, I am really dissapointed with the winchester ammo tho, I only got about 150rnds out of it before it needed to be cleaned. ruined my day I had to go home:(

I also have a 10/22 (my 3rd one) and i found the american eagle to be really good in it, i find once the 10/22 starts to foul up I tend to stove pipe when it ejects the casings. So that means no more cheap wall wamrt ammo in it!

Thanks tripalm, I checked it out, I spent 2 hours on the site and did my trigger right away. I'm a little hesitant to work on my sear and hammer, so I ordered $40.00 worth of parts and springs.:) When they get here I'm gonna trick this baby out! lol I love this thing so much I went to my local gun store and sold one of my 10/22's to put a deposit on a BMR! I'm just about loosing my mind waiting. I fianlly got some pics too.http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss207/notsorichguy/IMG_0081.jpg

Thanks for all of your help
