Hi guys,
Just bought a new Buckmark Contour 5.5. Cleaned it. First time shooting it, I am having problems feeding the first couple rounds from the mag. Seems to be fine after first couple. I am thinking that the magazine lips are too tight that after the first round it does not go up fast enough to be chambered. I tried striping off from the magazine by hand and it takes good second and half for the second roun do go up and making it too late to be chambered. It happens only when I load 10 rounds in the magazine and after the first three everything goes well. If I load 7 rounds I get no problems what so ever.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have a new Buckmark Camper, and I find the cases fail to eject at least once in every magazine. I'm hoping that this is just a "breaking in" type of problem, and once I put a few brick through it it will improve. Otherwise, it might be the last Buckmark I buy.

Try disassembling the mag, running a cloth through it a couple of times, spraying some G96 in it, wiping off excess.

Have six mags between two buckmarks, when new, the follower on one was a little sticky, after a bit of cleaning no probs at all. All mags working flawlessly for 1000s of rounds.

The only issue I have, and it very rare, is sometimes the slide of the Field model shuts on the round being ejected.

I bought a Buckmark Camper a couple of months ago, I picked up a second mag. One of the mags seems a little tight at the top (about 2 rounds down when loading) keeping the round from sliding up or down. I tried to open it up a little and it seems a little better. Anyone have this type of trouble with a mag?
