Buckmark Site rail

I have a cheap red dot that was a gift and would like to try it on my Buckmark, but I am having a problem finding a rail to mount it. I am willing to spent the crazy asking price if I do indeed like it, but don't want to drop huge coin and go back to irons. Anyone know of a dealer in Canada that carries such things. Plan B would be a short weaver base mounted to the existing rail IF it is even aluminum, I can't tell. The rear screw is seized or loctited and waiting for PB blaster to do its thing or I will apply some heat, very carefully of course. Has anyone attempted the short weaver base?
 
Thanks Morc, I have to go see them for another supply issue, will give them a call and see if they will bring something in. If I get enough reasons a road trip will be in my plans.
