I decided a long time ago to streamline my loading consumables and I chose the WC-735. I am not a long range target shooter and I don't load for Max velocities so, I use it for loads on everything. .243, 7.62x39mm, .308, .30-06, .303, and .303AI. I know it is not the "best" powder for each of these firearms but, with load development and bullet choice, they all shoot pretty much the same as when they were loaded with factory. Except the x39mm with PRVI ammo. Somehow, those are loaded VERY hot. Over 2600fps compared to Federal and Remington which are in the 2400fps range, which is where my loads keep me.Can't get much cheaper than Higginson's surplus WC-735. Great for .223/5.56 and not bad for a bunch of other calibers. Get some bulk 55 grain FMJ and you are good to go.
