I am putting together M14 and want to have red dot sight on it. After spending $$$ on everything else I am thinking of a very budget sighting system. Is there anything on the market that is not over 200$ and has quality small dot (2-3 MOA) and parallax-free? Bushnells any good?

the bushnell trophy tactical T-dot is a good sight, its modeled after the acog, so if you like that then you're set .. its 1x magnification.. T reticle with a 1moa dot in the middle.
integral weaver/picatinny mount

and while its not an expensive optic by any means, its top quality compared to the airsoft/chicom knockoffs

X2 on that, I`ve got 1 on my AR and i love it.

The Tasco ProPoint PDTS132 1x32mm would also be a good choice in this price range. Modeled after the Burris.

How about a candle I hear they are cheap but not that reliable. Honestly if you have that kind of money into your rifle then at least put good optics on it because the Bushnell or the Tasco will not hold up to thee abuse that your rifle will deliver to the scopes .Do your self a favor buy a Aimpoint or an EoTech pay once and get it over with or keep buying cheap scopes

+1 I've bought enough cheaper items over the years to have learned the hard way to just save up the money and buy what you want the first time.
