Can anyone recommend a decent green dot sight, preferably ~$300? I have a bit of astigmatism and trouble picking up a clear view through red dots.

Will be used on a PCC, not subject to much recoil. TIA.

I had several red and green dots and green lasers (some of still in my drawers). The problem is not necessary with your eyes, but a coating quality on the lens where the laser diodes projecting the dot. Resulting many shapes of artifacts. Regardless of a price point the coating may have flaws.
There are several test described online how you can check yourself, worth a read. Try looking through with polarizing glasses (from your fishing box), or try to make a picture of the dot with your cellphone, if you see the artifact that means it is not your eyes.
Next step up would be prism sights, some would fit your budget.
I have tried x3 but like more the x5 power, also I have one x14 prism. This week I got one IO 5x30- pro with MDR (mildot rapid) reticle.
