What are some good low power variable optics (1-4 up to 1-6) for a budget? Looking for something under $400. Other than the Strikeagle, what else is out there?

A used Leopold VX3. I had a $400 Vortex 2-8 that I destroyed on light 375, got a new one and sold it. I’ve got a used VX3 that has lasted just fine on 2 different 375s.

I like my Bushnell AR optics 1-4x22 FFP. Has an illuminated reticle so on 1x its like a red dot. I run it on my PCC for 3 gun, thing has taken a beating and never lost zero.

Anyone have any experience with the leupold vx freedom 1-4? Been considering throwing one on my 35rem. I’d like the vx3 1.5-5 but I’d have to buy used.

Definitely buy the used Vx3 over the Vx Freedom. There is no comparison in glass and pretty much everything else.

Consider the Sig optics as well. I have been very impressed with them for the $. The Whiskey 3 i have on my 223 has been excellent.

Burris RT-6 deserves a look as well.

Used vortex 1-4x PST they are awesome glass and great out to 200+ yards no problem and if you are a shooter 400 is doable with that glass and reticle. Few on EE you could probably snag for
