Budget trigger

Recommendations for a budget AR trigger? Just want something with a clean break. Would I be ahead to just get it worked on by a local smith?

If your trigger is smooth but heavy there is no need to replace it. The best and cheapest upgrade you can do to your standard mil-spec trigger is to install the JP Enterprises reduced power spring kit.

Amazing what the JP springs, Joe's screw and a smoothed out mil-spec trigger can do for very little money.

Another +1. For about $100, you get a drop in kit built by a Geiselle. I only use these triggers on my ARs. Check for light strikes if you use the purple spring though.
