I acquired a large quantity of brownells and satin glo greaseless buffing compound, some of it is hard as a rock is there any way to bring this back to life? Or is it garbage?

See if wrapping it with a wet towel and a bit of microwaving to warm it up and moisturize it... the hardness is due to drying out.

You may want to cut a piece off and experiment with a small amount...

I always store mine with a damp cloth and wrapped up tight with plastic and in the refrigerator.

i just read recently a chap said .....freeze it and then allow it to thaw in a very moist atmosphere and it will take on moisture as it thaws and be usable ,,,,keep it frozen when not in use good luck don
