Ok, i'm pretty sure i've seen folk on here talking about tumblers they have built. I can find electric motors realativly easy and cheaply, what sort of designs have you whipped up in the past? Any one have pictures? I'm thinking i need something that will do 1-2K 9mm at a run. (unless i can think of an easy way to go bigger yet....)

Do i really need one that big, nah, but that way i can do one humungus load now and then, instead of a constant series of small loads.

hmmmm, maybe a small reactor to power it,,,,where did i leave my dilithyium crystals......

I am also think of buildling one. Thinking a five gallon bucket on a stick. I agreed with fogducker, has to be cheap to make it worth doing. I will try my idea this weekend and post a pic if it works. Shake my head if it doesn't. Nothing ventured nothing gained.:)

just use an old dryer. they are cheap enough that you could just replace them when the motor is burnt out. just remove the heating element and fill the holes in the drum and away you go

i,d be interested in building a bigger one:D

I was thinking of something similar in my head, but not as nicely finished as that unit. That is SWEET! I'd be willing to team up on something bigger. I'm without a welder at present, but should be able to come up with a motor and drive with some scroungine. There are rolling composters that use rotomoulded barrels with twist lock caps, or olive barrels with twist on lids that would make a simplier opening process.

One of the blue plastic 45 gallon drums, with a removable lid. Mount it on something like Foggie's or just turn your ATV upside down........ :D
