visit a safety supply store and get the glasses (about 1-2$ each) and ear plugs (similar price or buy them at CT for a couple bucks)
ammo container I was using was just a surplus .50 that princess auto sold, if you want to carry more than what it will hold I would say a gym bag or something of the sort. I have both, the gym bag has a few boxes of 12 as well as my sandbags.
Gunzilla gets great reviews and is non toxic, as for a cleaning kit, all depends what he has and what he thinks he'll get into. you can get one of the Hoppes kits and then add brushes and boresnakes etc as you aquire firearms.
I picked up a $10 plano tool box at walmart and use that as a "range box" so to speak, put all my stuff I use at the range in it; when I go to the range I grab what I want to shoot, my range box and one of the two ammo containers and Im gone.
