Im lookin into a pimped out 10/22 heres my thing should I go with a allready made 10/22 and just add the parts (barrel,stock,trigger group,receiver,hammer) or just buy the dlask receiver and add parts from there? How tough would it be to just buy the dlask receiver and assemble? If there a parts list or a parts kit like building a ar15 ?

Having just been through this, you would be better off buying one of the already built guns on the EE!
Even if you change a few things you will be ahead of the game.
I'm into a build right now for around $1000 and looking at the ones for $800 & $900 on the EE I'm kicking myself!

I think the main reason to buy a build that someone has listed in the EE would be that.....
the builder such as myself might have $1,147.00 into a build in total pricing.....
however i know that i will not get every penny of that back, i been thinking of selling my build to fund a new centerfire rifle but if i was to sell it i would probably post for maybe $900 and be open to an offer. thats almost a $250 loss. once its been fired and whatnot you wont get new value, kinda like a car. so basically you end up saving a few bucks on a pre built...
and just for fun....

I have a Dar22 on the way, should be here this week. The rifle consists of
Basic Dar22 with 30 moa integral rail
Barrel is 16" Extreme
Boyds Thumbhole stock
Trigger job
Shipped for $875.73
All I need to do is add my Burris signature rings and my Mueller 8-32x44 scope and she will be ready to go. If I want to change out anything on the rifle, I would go for the Kidd bolt and trigger system.

I guess the other question is, is the DAR receiver really worth it?
Right now my build is on a standard receiver and while I would love the new receiver I don't know it's worth it.
I'm not tryin to squeeze every last drop of accuracy out of this gun, but if I was I might drop the extra cash.

I think im going to go with the dar action and a volquartsen carbon fiber barrel stock im unsure of and fill the internals with more volquartsen parts and trigger group im mot sure of. I jus have to find a dealer for this crap in canadaland or start filling out paper work and export it.
