what wood you tink it wood cost for parts and laibor to build dis set up

i want to put a 308 Medium barrels like a rem varmint size cut down to 18 inch threaded 5/8×24 Thread and parkarized
MIL-STD-1913 scout scope mount forward of action for use of red dot or long eye relief optic permanently attached 5 inch long
XS Sight Systems, Inc Mauser 98/96/95 - Ghost-Ring Aperture Set for backup irons (can you get these) and install
CDI Precision Trigger Guard for Short Action AICS Detachable Box Magazine Mauser 98 Long Action can you source and install

action polished and trigger polished make it no less then 5.5 to 6 ponds be great

polymer stock less then 3 pounds add to pic rail section on front of stock 2 inch long

free flote berrle like to have sub moa if posible
check head space after test fire
and redo the finish on the rifle
tune it up a bit fitting so all works good

less or more then 2000$
 
Probably way more then $2000....and it will still be long action .308, with 90 degree bolt throw, and lousy lock time.
Why not get a Ruger Gunsite Scout, it's 99% what your are after already.

Well to each his own it's your action do as you wish but I believe 1909s are fairly scarce and desirable
for custom builds for a "traditional" style sporter. You know with those "yauky" wooden stocks etc .,
so much unwanted by the younger generation. It would be a shame to do that to a classic action.
Sell it and take the money and do as Hitsy says and spend less in the long run. JMHO-FWIW --- John
