Hi guys, I just bought one of the last Winchester 70 Ultimate shadow stainless steel in Montreal in .300 WSM. Lebaron at 789.00...fairly good price...
I plan to use the controled round feed action as a base for a ''custom'' hunting rifle capable of a very good accuracy. Let's say 1 to 0.5 moa...
My basic idea was a Mcmillan stock, Krieger s/s barrel, pillar and glass bedding, blueprinting of the action, trigger job... With this, i think i will be covering to most important things to do, but...
The caliber would be 300 WSM (barrel twist ???)
I need your ideas and suggestions on how should i do this ''dream'' project...
If this model 70 ''pre-64'' action in stainless steel was yours, what would you do... I have to meet my gunsmith in 2 days...
Thanks!
