Hey guys and gals,

A few years ago I was really getting into the idea of having a shotgun like a derya m12. The days of buying something like that are obviously gone now.

I have been starting to get it into my head I would like to build something similar ish. Semi auto, black, mag or tube fed would be ok, 6 position stock, lots of picatinny rails for add ons.

Any of you out there ever build one from something like a remington 1187, mossberg 930, or similar? I realize that a person wouldnt be able to build it exactly like a m12, and mag fed might be totally a dream.

Wouldnt mind hearing of any builds if a person has done one.

Tube fed over mag fed for sure, you have more room to play with capacity due to loading length wise vs. stacking in a box mag. If the gun is a 3” chambered gun you can fit more than 5 of a shorter shell in a tube legally.

The quick route is to get a 1301, put a red dot and an S&J mag extension on it, and buy a lot of ammo so you can use it. There's an Urbino available for a pistol grip, and either a modified Zhukov or a Briley forend.

I had a great time with with my AXL47 12ga last spring and summer. No failures and very enjoyable to shoot! I'm really looking forward to shooting it again in the spring. Basically just a really all out fun range/bush gun!
I want to put some more rounds through it and test the quality and longevity of parts. It's imported by Revolutionary Arms, so who even knows what parts are available but we'll see I guess.

So here's a question... We all know it's illegal to convert a shotgun/rifle into a bullpup, but is it illegal to unbullpup a bullpup? Like take the upper off the HG-105, which is the serialized part and presumably the receiver, and adapt it to the lower of one of those prohib "M16" ones that more or less have the exact same action?
