Hey guys, I'm building an ar, I wanna go pretty high quality and I was looking for some feed back on my parts list as it stands now

Martiuk lower
Mag pull lower parts kit
Daniel defense bolt
A3AR lower I found on cowboy tactical
And a Hart barrel

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. priced as of right now its looking like a $1400 build. Any ideas on better quality or equal quality for less cash would be awesome! Thanks in advance guys.

Also, some info on builds you guys have done would be appreciated as well.
 
Parts list seems a little thin...

Buffertube?
Rear stock?
Gas tube?
Muzzle device?
There is a ton of stuff you're missing there...

I don't even know where you'd find a "Magpul" lower parts kit now .... or a DD Bolt assembly .... I think you'd need to add a few hundred more to your estimate to make it more accurate.

Last one I built was $1800 not including the match trigger.
 
This is just my list as it stands, I know its a little lacking and some of the parts might be hard to get, thus this post. I'm not expecting this to fall together any time soon, I'm more looking to snatch the parts as they become available to me.

I agree with Timbertec. There are a lot of different small parts you are missing like he stated such as gas block, handguard, charging handle, recoil buffer, iron sights, ect.. To put together a rifle around your price range, say $1500-1600 i would look at picking up a complete lower and then looking for a complete upper in the config that best suits you. There are high quality uppers and lowers out there that will preform very well and then you can swap or add any little things you want after.

If you don't mind not building one yourself you can always look at Daniel Defense, Armalite, Stag Arms, and Core15 rifles, all sold by site sponsors at the top.
 
Honestly, I don’t mean to rag on you, but it appears like you need to do a little more research… check out the info on Brownells as Timbertec suggested…
 
The Magpul LPK is just a PSA LPK with the MOE trigger guard and MOE grip. At this point it will be almost impossible to get that kit for probably like 1 year +, your best bet would be to get on the backorder list for something similar on Brownells.
 
I literally just finished my build with EOTech optics. I too started with a Motiuk custom lower receiver. I started adding up the prices of all my parts for my build yesterday (not including optics or mags) and it totalled well over $1900 which didn't include tax or shipping of the parts.

I can post a list of all the parts I used in my build and their prices when I get a chance (all purchased between late October 2012 and now).

One thing your going to have to prepare yourself for is the difficulty of finding parts after everything has kind of dried up since last month's occurrences south of us, and the prices of what still is available may have gone up due to supply and demand. Unfortunately it's not the best time to start a build just due to lack of availability in parts, or the fact you might not be able to find the exact parts you want for your build and would have to either settle for something else or wait.
