Building an AR10?

I'm interested in acquiring an AR10 but have no experience with them. Can anyone offer insights on building a basic AR10 rifle from available parts? Are there things to avoid? What should I budget? Any good sources of parts available here in Canada? Are there viable options to import AR10 parts? Any pointers on shopping for used AR10 parts and components? What AR15 parts (if any) may interchange with an AR10? Good books or websites to follow?
