Just looking for a couple suggestions for suppliers from you more expierienced builders. I don't want to just buy another one. Want to get my hands dirty. I'm in the fraser valley. Thanks

All those mentioned already, osts as well.

My approach is typically to figure out what I want then try to find a Canadian distributer/retailer.

One thing I learned on my second build. The proper tools make everything so much easier. Roll pin punches, and if you're willing to spend the dime the geissele gas tube roll pin starter and reaction rod are f'n awesome tools. I think arms east sells them.

Agreed with all the above. Most of my parts have come from wolverine. If there is small stuff you don't see on their site, call them. They usually have it.

Ost and csc have provided good service as well.

Having the right tools like roll pin punches, AR tool etc make the experience enjoyable.

Also once you know what you want just play the EE game if you wait for good deals to come up.

I like many others have used these site sponsors and have had no issues what-so-ever

OSTS, CTCS, Armtac, Questar, Sask Gun Works & SRFC.

As noted, having the right tools also helps. Upper/Lower Vise Blocks (Spikes, Magpul etc), Roll Pin Punches, Armorers Multi-Tool (DPMS) go a long way to making things easier during the course of the build.

Sometimes sourcing the actual parts is the maddening fun of it all, so don't bank on just one supplier. Utilise the EE when you can and you'll find deals if you have the patience and understand current prices.

Good luck!

Definitely grab tools. Having punches, AR tool and vice blocks make the whole process so simple.

Just don't talk to me about A2 front sight removals.... Get a big damned hammer.

That's for sure. Bought a norq and a UTG handguard. I thought that thing was never coming off.

I third that motion! Some can be really a pain to remove.
You may or may not have thought of this, but consider a Cold Hammer Forged barrel, they've always worked very well for me in the past and are still accurate to this day
