BUIS Help

Hey guys, me again with yet ANOTHER question pertaining to my AR-15 build. I'm looking at BUIS now, and wanted some input. I'm running an Elcan C79, and I'm aware of the space limitations on the rail, but I think I'll be able to compensate for that with my collapsible stock. Anyways, I've been wondering which sight is the (oh god, here we go - ) best. I need something which folds very low onto the rail, otherwise anything goes.

the rear sight folds VERY low, and they are made of polymer (VERY light)....

I would say the Troy is one of the best, and very low profile. Mine has been rock solid, however it is a fairly simple BUIS (no range adjust like on the KAC models, no quick deploy feature like the Magpul).

That being said, you will have a tough time getting a BUIS to work with the C79 sight. Due to the very short eye relief on the Elcan, I could never use my Troy with it and still achieve a comfortable cheek weld/nose to charging handle/proper length of pull position. There was a reason they issued us those crappy plastic BUIS that were supposed to go in front of the C79....

i have used a ARMS 40-LC with the C79 on a C7A2 and it worked pretty good, works better with my Specter DR
