I have one, in excellent condition, due to being short on cash, Im concidering selling some of my collectables.what would be a fair asking price? Thanks

Worth? $250 IMHO...

Value? IIRC they are going for $600 in the EE!!!

I should have bought LOTS & held onto them for the last 3-4 years, BEST return investment going IMHO...

Chuckle

Cheers

Well these are a lot rarer as a Bulgarian refurb , as only a few of these were imported into Canada in the early 90S , well if it's worth no more than a russian refurb I will just keep it

No no, I was being cynical. TO ME an svt40 is a $250 gun...

To a collector OR someone late to the game who wants one, well there's a premium now...

Their value has climbed significantly!

sounds like you already know what you want for it, why not cut the BS and list it on the EE instead of on the red rifles forum.

Just saying

The so-called Bulgarian "light refurbs" generally have original stamped matching bolt carrier/ bolt/ triggerguard, and double stamped stock. They often have mint bores and are mechanically very good. They were going for $750 two years ago when the Soviet refurbs were still available widely for $300. With the latter going for $600-$700 today, I wouldn't let my near perfect '43 Bulgarian go for less than $1000, if I wanted to sell (which I don't).
