Bulk .22

Don't know where you from, but I use Winchester 555. Around 19$ a box. I use it with : Ruger Standard pistol(1973), Ruger 10/22, 2 Savages Mark II (BTV & F) without any problems or jams. Luv it for the price.

^^^LeBaron's sells the Win555 for less than $19. I have 10 boxes reserved on the next shipment. I'm shooting Blazer 525's @$22 per brick for now from Target Sports in Gormley.

Whatever you buy, avoid remington branded .22 like the plague. Currently dragging myself through the agony of shooting through a brick of golden bullets and I'm having about a 20% to 30% misfire rate, with multiple strikes. Thunderbolts are just as bad, and dirtier than anything I have ever used.

Wally world usually has winchester 333 and 555 for a good price, along with dynapoints, Never had a problem with it going off.

Walmart and Canadian tire sell Winchester High Velocity in a grey box of 500 for $22, and they shoot very well and are pretty reliable in my 10/22.

Canadian tire also sells Blazer but it is more expensive than most other places. I can get it for $22/500 at a local shop, or at Epps. It shoots very well, and functions 100 percent in my 10/22 and Sig mosquito.

With the price of any other brand brick of ammo, why would a fellow " SUFFER " through many boxes of Rem 22 ammo? FS

That stuff is a sleeper hit.......I just hope they don't realize how good it is (value-wise) and jack-up the prices !

poor decision making

Well, when your on you way to the range with a few friends and the only store on the way has nothing but remmy garbage left, you suck it up and enjoy the ones that go bang. Looking at the bright side, it's a good way to tell if I'm flinching with my pistol:p

lol
You've diagnosed a new shooter's issue...the "Bad Ammo Flinch".

..caused by big bang, real bang and, often enough...no bang. To top it all off, a thorough cleaning required

I've seen Winchester Wildcats for 19.99 at Le Baron's. Heard great things about the 525s as well I'm trying to pick some up for the next time I go shooting.

LeBaron's in Mississauga has Winchester 555's back in stock.
I bought a case of it (10 boxes) for $17.74/box. I think I'm good for a while;)

I sometimes wonder if fewer people prefer the 333/555's over the Wildcats ?

I certainly know where my preference lies ;) , but.....
